Yes we now have THREE pinball machines at the Dove, ATTACK FROM MARS, TERMINATOR 2, and the newly arrived and renovated BLACK KNIGHT 2000....3 classic machines to tempt you...all alongside each other with plenty of space to play....

This makes us the only pub venue, as far as we know (TBC) in the whole UK, to have 3 pinball machines. Few have even got 1, not many have 2, but 3......its a new record. My customers have Q'd at weekends to play the original 2 so now it will be easier to get a game in on Friday and Sat nights...and the BLACK KNIGHT 2000 is a multi level game that will really keep you on your toes with 3 flippers and a MAGNETRON!!!!

As the pinball has taken off here BIG TIME, we may even put in a 4th machine next month!! We also have a customer who travels down from YORK just to play pinball, as there are none anywhere apparently in that City.:thumbsup:

great, but whats the price, i couldn't belive it the last time i were in it cost me ten bob for three balls, mind you i enjoyed it though, great beer, eee i can remember when it were 20p for five balls, memories eh.;)

£1 for 2 games...its the standard price and all machines we get are pre-set at that rate.......Cant change it regret to say, but its still great value........

Can get them yes but they need so much maintenance its not economic sense to have them. Parts are difficult to source as they are 100% mechanical, and they take ages to repair on site when awkward bits break or wear out.

Having said that, BLACK KNIGHT 2000 machine from 1989 has gone wrong twice in 2 days........:mad:

yes we are still here, alive and kicking.....but August 2006 was a NARROW escape, we only just rescued it in time from undoubtedly becoming offices, or just boarded up....the wolf was just one paw from the door shall we say...its much cleaner and more vibrant than it was.....

I hope for a few hot Fridays before the end of the Summer......

PS we still have 3 pinball machines and some of the most dedicated players in Sheffield come to us all the time....

We now have a new Pinball machine supplier and will be having no less than FOUR retro machines up and running when we re-organize our games area, whioch will also include a pool table and table football too!!!!!.....3 pinball machines currently installed, which we still believe sets the record in Sheffield.....
