Hello all,

I recently purchased a large canvas and a retro poster for my girlfriend for valentines day (for our flat). I sprayed the back of the poster using Spray Mount and fixed it to the canvas which seemed to work fine.

However, at the weekend I noticed the poster has started peeling off, so I purchased some stronger spray mount (labelled as Permanent) and repeated the process. This however seems to have the same effect and it's already peeling off.

Is there anyway to stain the image onto the canvas? Fixing the poster to the canvas using any kind of glue seems to have the same outcome. A colleague mentioned something about sunflower oil and heat, but he may have been winding me up.

I feel this is a question that only the SF Crafters can aid me with?

Any ideas?

oooo, I think I've seen a product you can use to transfer any magazine image onto something like a cushion, but I think that was probably on changing rooms many moons ago
