My Mum thought me buying the 39 episode complete series boxset of Terrahawks was sad enough! That and the fact that I rented the complete series of Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green from Amazon last year! Man I loved those shows when I was 5! Camrat78 07-03-2007, 11:41 Oh my god! Classic! dieselbabe 07-03-2007, 15:50 I loved Count Duckula, i still got a video of it when i was younger. heartshaped1 11-03-2007, 11:45 Count Duckula was ok, but Alias the Jester was better! :) ChrisTodd 11-03-2007, 11:48 I remember Count Duckula, but I didn't like it much. I much preferred the innocence of Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Chigley. Rich 11-03-2007, 14:52 i have..... cult kids classics 1 & 2 featuring: dangermouse jamie and the magic torch count duckula chorlton & the wheelies sooty rainbow also have jamie and the magic torch 12 episode dvd. does anyone watch nick jr from 8pm at night? ahhhhhh memories I do, watch Camberwick Green at 8 on Nick Jr 2 and then switch over to Nick Jr 1 at 8.15 for Trumpton... Class! They just don't make kids TV like that no more... I know I shouldn't care or even be watching it at my age, but there's something nostalgic about watching stuff like what Nick Jr puts on, although stuff like Rainbow has aged badly, you can tell Bungle's some bloke in a suit, and Zippy's just an annoying yellow thing with a big gob... And don't get me started on teh ambigiously gay pink hippo.. A gay hippo on a pre-school TV show?! Whatever would the Mail readers think?!  And no, I am not homophobic before anyone starts. Mod_Man 11-03-2007, 15:12 SPORT BILLY >>>>>> please someone remember it :( I remember Sport Billy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huJlDsfXf5U&mode=related&search=). He had the magic bag which held loads of sport's goods, he used to shrink them down before putting them in his bag. I have never heard of Count Duckula though. madowl 11-03-2007, 16:32 Im too young to remember count Duckula...:D "Castle Duckula, home for many centuries to a dreadful dynasty of vicious vampire ducks - The Counts of Duckula. Legend has it that these 'fowl' beings can be destroyed by a stake through the heart or exposure to sunlight. This does not suffice however, for they may be brought back to life by means of a secret rite that can be performed once a century, when the moon is in the Eighth House of Aquarius... The latest reincarnation did not run according to plan...." TonyTheYid 11-03-2007, 17:50 best kiddies programme ever!! I made a purchase on Ebay not so long back for these babies :) http://i3.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/86/90/c346_1_b.JPG muckynees 11-03-2007, 18:01 all these shows were great werent they, they beat the pants off the stuff my kids watch theses days , teletubbies, lazytown etc, although i recently watched an episode of rainbow with my daughter and the acting was appalling! it was nice to visit cockleshell bay again though! Rich 11-03-2007, 18:04 all these shows were great werent they, they beat the pants off the stuff my kids watch theses days , teletubbies, lazytown etc, although i recently watched an episode of rainbow with my daughter and the acting was appalling! Yeah, even by 80s standards.. And as mentioned there's the unquestionably gay characters totally unsuitable for a pre-school show such as George and Bungle...
