Just spent 3 nights at the Alvaston Hotel, Nantwich on a Warners rock 'n roll weekend break. Dave Berry should have been on stage but was replaced by the Dreamers. Two of the guys were in the original group backing Freddy. They were very good. On Friday the Fortunes were on and again offered excellent entertainment. Three members were in the original group and the keyboard player was in Badfinger. If you see this show advertised and you think you might give it a try its well worth it.

Dave Berry didn't turn up because he was appearing over in Lincolnshire I think. There was a mix up with his bookings and the hotel warned us he was being replaced by the Dreamers (after we had paid). As I said the Dreamers did a good job. The whole point of us booking in the first place, however, was to see Dave who appeared at the St. David's Hotel, Ewloe, North Wales just over a year ago and put on a fantastic show.
