about time next got a bigger shop the kids department is tiny to walk round if there is lots of buggys in there also nearly every time you go to pimark in town the lift is broken so you cant get to the kids department.

I hope it's a good primark though, what I mean is, the primark stores that I have visited outside of Sheffield city centre (especially the Rotherham one) are REALLY trashy. Like all the stuff they can't sell at other shops gets dumped there! A bit like a jumble sale with clothes chucked everywhere!

I'm sure Meadowhall bosses will want Primark to keep their standards up so they don't reflect badly on the centre as a whole.

The one at Doncaster is lots better than the Sheffield or Rotherham stores, so hopefully the Meadowhall one will be like that!

So they have closed the only useful and decent supermarket in the area and replaced it with an idiot's jumble sale?

Well done Meadowhall, one more reason not to bother visiting.

Just about says it all really.

Still, maybe this goes towards helping the city centre get the higher quality stores.

They might as well relocate the market ot Meadowhall and turn it into a complete Clampit shopping centre, like Crystal Peaks, except Crystal peaks at least has a supermarket.

Primark and Next will be welcomed I think but I still think that C&A should never have shut

C&A should never have shut

The strange thing is, when you go abroad the C&A shops are realy good, with modern, fashionable stuff, I can't understand why they are/were so dire in this country.

Indeed it does, but I tend to find the bras a bit roomy.

I welcome the new primark in Meadowhall. It will mean even more choice there and I wont have to go in to the city centre if I want to go to Primark.

Primark is the only reason I venture to town these days (which aint very often - usually for the kids socks!!!) Meadowhall is the place I shop cause it's so convenient for me.

In what way ?I went in for five minutes with my then-girlfriend and the queue for the tills was about a quarter of a mile long. The noise was like a scene from a nature video, when an entire cliffside of seagulls starts calling.

Never again.

i agree with most of you primark can sometimes be like a jumble sale but for the prices of the clothes you cant go wrong especially for accessories!

primark in leeds is amazing too....just looks like a really posh department store but with cheap prices!! Also the clothes are hung up and not strewed around the shop all over the floor!
