Anyone see the papers today about a Sheffield medical student who was completing a Duke of Edinburgh award hike and wait for it......................poor baby got blisters.

She then decided to try and sue saying the group leader hadnt listened to her when she moaned that her feet were hurting.

The judge more or less called her a failure who didnt know what she had let herself in for and threw the case out.

Bravo to the judge - finally one with some common sense.

Shame on you student, whatever your name is, find another way to pay your way!

Just seen it in the Daily Mirror, also a tiny pic of her, she looks pretty attractive ;)

Most female con artists are!! Thats how they trap their victims.

Interestingly enough this is the sceond case I've heard of recently where the judge threw out a stupid damages claim. Perhaps there's a bit of common sense finally arriving on the legal scene.

I did the DofE years ago and I cultivated some wonderful blisters....most of them my own fault for not looking after my own feet properly.
