Looking forward to next year. Should be good. be good to see a Brit back in the paddock lets hope he'll be competive. The 125 and moto 2 races have been intense (and tragic RIP Tomi). (Pass of the season goes to espargaro last week!)

Did anyone go to Silverstone this year?

I cant warm to him either, cant quite put my finger on what though.

Still, he`ll have to enjoy it for a single year. Rossi on the Ducati next year, no-one has a chance.

No doubting that Lorenzo is a fantastic rider but I too can't warm to him. He's a mardy arse who cried to the team manager because Rossi duffed him up at Motegi and today, he ignored Ben Spies who wanted to congratulate him.

As for next year, I think it could be very interesting with Rossi on the Ducati and Stoner at Honda. That said, I think Spies on the factory Yamaha could be one to watch next year.

Mind you, I think Crutchlow could ruffle a few feathers because he's a feisty little sod and some of those primadonnas in MotoGP don't like it up 'em...

Bladesman
10-10-2010, 21:00
Yeah I do not like Lorenzo either I compare him to another mardy arse Fernando Alonso.

Also I am going to bold and say I do not think he would of won the title had Rossi and Pedrosa not been injured. True he has been consistant but he has not been given a good run for his money.

Good to see Rossi making process at Ducati. Also good to see the brit Cal Crutchlow is doing alright as well.

The Honda's look quick but once again Pedrosa is injured. At least Stoner is giving Lorenzo a challenge this year. Unlike all his rivals last season that got crippled mid season.

Bladesman
15-06-2011, 00:12
They still raced at Silverstone despite having similar weather conditions to the F1 in Canada.

Stoner won unchallenged true Jorge and Marco both fell off their bikes. Although ended up being a blessing for Rossi who managed 6th from starting 13th. I was surprised at the size of the time gaps between everyone on the track as Stoner managed to lap most of the field.

Stoner wins once again this weekend.

I hope Lorenzo does not start making a comeback.

Rossi struggling again on that Ducati surely he should of forced a move to Honda when he left Yamaha.

The photo finish was a great ending to the race and the season.

A solid race for Capirossi for his final GP after 22 years in the sport and good of him to honour Marco by driving the number 58.

Suzuki has confirmed that it will not compete in next year's MotoGP championship for financial reasons.

The Japanese factory saw lone rider Alvaro Bautista finish 13th this season but have now ended their 37-year stay.

A statement read: "Suzuki Motor Corporation has decided to suspend temporarily its participation in MotoGP from the 2012 season.

"Having an eye on returning to MotoGP in 2014, Suzuki will now focus on developing a competitive new machine."

Bautista had already announced that he has joined Gresini Honda for next season as a replacement for the late Marco Simoncelli.

Suzuki's withdrawal leaves just Honda, Yamaha and Ducati as manufacturers with full factory teams on the grid for 2012.

More sad news for Moto GP but hopefully they can come back in 2014.

Seems like it is going to be very similar to last season.

The Honda's are fastest closely followed by the Yamaha's and then the Ducati's are still well off the pace.

Stoner odds on for the title again it I reckon.

Some good news is Cal Crutchlow has a bit more pace in his bike so could be further up the grid this year.

Looking forward to the moto 2 and 3 again def the best racing by far last year. Plenty of Brits to cheer on

Bladesman

That Ducati is still massively off the pace.

Rossi might just be regretting his move from Yamaha.

Honda is the bike to beat still.

Yeah he looks more confident this season and has a decent bike.

Rossi still plodding along at Ducati.

I'm really disappointed with this year's races so far. Where have the whole races of tussle gone? The Estoril race had about 4 or 5 changes of position over the whole race and the whole of the rest of the race looked like a formula 1 style procession.

I know what you mean, watched bsb today, much better racing now all the electronics have been taken away.Just the skill of the rider to make the difference now, great to see Chris Walker winning again.I understand motogp will eventually become a CRT bike championship. The moto2 and moto3 is great racing.

Moto2 has provided great racing since it started and the moto3 riders are nuts! Simoncelli was the best newcomer in MotoGP and the only rider who was taking risks, it is getting boring this year and like Medusa said it is becoming like F1. The new CRT teams are only providing more riders on the grid but they are not competitive so it is a little pointless.

I think we were all hoping for miracles with the 1000's, even Colin Edwards tweeted from hospital that the race was boring.

Moto 2 and now Moto 3 are the best thing out there by far at the minute.

However Cal is doing a blumming good job in the premier class for us. Really been impressed by Stefan Bradl too.

Really surprised at that especially at still 26 years old.

Although his health has not helped he does seem to pick up illnesses rather a lot.

He seems to think Moto GP is not what is was and I think with regards to this season he is right.

Read Matt Roberts blog earlier, seems Casey has always felt he would retire early, the regulations are going to change more in the next few years and move away from prototype racing so why not quit while your winning, take your millions enjoy being a daddy and go fishing
