just make sure its a first pressing of the first record.

my mum had a bunch of their first pressings and my jackass dad threw them all in the bin (along with my college tuition!) after he put them all on tape. apparently tapes were the wave of the future.

It could vary immensely. I have two copies of that album. A late re-issue which is worth a few quid, and an original from '63 which is worth considerably more.

If you look on the run out groove (the thick, 'clearer' bit of vinyl between the music bit, and the label) on either side, there will be a set of numbers and letters stamped into it.

Could you let us know what they are? And is 'Parlophone' spelt in gold letters, big yellow letters, or smaller silver letters on the label?
