Depends what area you live in-I can recommend a good indian and a good chinese in North Sheffield

we had a chinese from happyness on abbeydale road
didn't enjoy it at all

The first time I put down to the amount I had had to drink, the 2nd time I was stone cold sober.....even my cats wouldnt eat it and they love curry....

Spice Hut on Middlewood Road do deliveries and they are excellent.

We always have ours from hoong too at the corner of vere rd/penistone rd.we always enjoy them from there....
infact all this talk of chinese is getting my taste buds going.

i will second that! hoong too is the best chinese meal i have tasted and portion sizes are huge.

For chinese we've used the Golden Lee on London Road for home deliveries for the last 3 or 4 years - phone no is 258 5890.

Best Indian takeaway IMHO is Rajputs on Commonside but they don't do deliveries.

Yeah, that's Cafe Masala (275 5542) and Hanifah Balti House (258 3700). Heard good stuff about them!

golden lee everytime on corner of highfields but if u live at hillsbro might b extra delivery but the food is 5 star honest once you have had one you wont go anywhere else

Hannifah was a burger bar until a few months back (if that long) and still looks very much like one from the outside. Even as a burger/kebab/pizza shop it wasn't the sort of place I would have exactly eaten off the floor in (if you catch my drift) and I was forever delivering pizzas to the flat upstairs, which must say soemthing.

Try the Vietnamese noodle bar on London road,
Its very modern and stylish, tasty food and they deliver!

Sang Lung on Langsett Road (next to Maplin) deliver and do a wonderful duck with ginger and spring onion.

Since when were chips Indian, and to be honest, I'm not sureI could trust anywhere that sells 'chicken curry' all bit vague. For me, Curry Mahal is still worth the drive (and I live just off Abbeydale road-centre of the curry universe)
