Anyone know which City Centre shop might stock the Independant Truck Company range of American t shirts....any ideas? Popular US skateboading shirts......not sure if latest range have reached the UK or not but I can't seem to buy them online as all the stores in the US wont ship to the UK......

I would have suggested Sumo too, but they have closed :0(

Free Spirit at Meadowhell has a good selection of clothing, but is a tad on the expensive side.

There is a place called Slide on Division street, while not specifically skateboarding, they do a wide range of quality t shirts. They also have snowboarding and other xtreme sports stuff

I haven't been to the Forum for ages, there used to be a skate shop upstairs but the shops seem to change on a weekly basis in there.

Probably worth a look though.

Only the ground floor in the forum is now occupied and from what I remember from my last visit there were a few alternative clothes stores mainly aimed at metal type fans, but as I remember they have some cool stuff. Worth looking at, I'd say!!

So what happened to all the "shops" upstairs ?
The Forum used to be so cool, is it a bit crappy now ?

They got rid of them and closed all the upstairs off. The few shops they do have there are ok as they are the kind of places I would shop at. There only few small clothes stores and a couple of cannabis type shops and that's about it. I think it went down hill when they decided to go pretentious and include a cafe bar there.

The skate shop in the Forum was Sumo. There aren't any skate shops left in Sheffield so you might have to go mail order.... there's loads of mail order skate stores on the internet.

Right, so they moved into the shop on Division Street, that has just closed ?

I hear they were going to move to a smaller shop across the road but the rates were way too high. I do hope they manage to re-open somewhere else, they had some great clothes and trainers.

Yep, they moved over to Division Street a few years back at the start of the latest skate craze when big companies latched onto it and turned it into a marketable product. It'd be a shame for Sumo to disappear because it's been a part of Sheffield culture for many years.

It's a sign of things to come as more chain stores move into the city, the cost of rent will increase and the smaller independant shops will die off.
