My fiancee made me some veggie cottage pie, but I disgusted her by pouring Marmite gravy on it!

Food is always nicer when you don't have the hassle of cooking it or washing up afterwards. With this in mind I had a very mediocre fish pie and a nice diet Dr. Pepper. The pie was done in the microwave [so time consuming] and the drink was quaffed straight from the bottle.
It may not of been brilliant but I can live on it!!

Bad enough slaving over a hot microwave for myself, anybody else can help themselves and loking at the contents of my freezers they'd better bring there own food as well. No scratch that I've got some three year old fishfingers that want using, if someone supplies the bread.

We had a stirfry - awful. I passed on pud, but decided to have some cold custard around 10pm (it was left from what dad had around 9) :D

Alex you and my mother would get on like a house on fire, I suppose you like cold stodgy rice pudding, burnt toast and liver as well though not neccesarily at the same time.
I sometimes used to think my mother cooked badly so we'd learn to fend for ourselves, well it worked I can make cheese on toast with the best of them. Mum's worst exploit was when she had a new oven and spent two hours grilling our christmas turkey.

Hello, Good Evening and Welcome - LONDON

Nowt wrong with a bit of cold custard.

I like cold rice pudding, sometimes I push the boat out and mix in a spot of Strawberry Jam. Obviously, it has to be consumed straight form the tin.

How lovely

Last night was lamb chops, roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower. It's amazing how far a cauliflower goes...you have to eat it because the darn thing never seems to rot!

Cold custard is the best custard, - especially on cold stewed rhubarb or plums.

For me tea I had (tinned)salmon sarnies with crispy lettuce, followed by blackberry and apple pie with low fat cream.

Cold custard doesn't last five minutes in our house - I scoffed it all with a piece of the pie for my supper on Sunday evening :D

Sprouts are back in season! Way hay!

I had sprouts, just nicely done, you have to learn the knack, boiled pots, peas and some mince.

I can't seem to find anybody that sells sprout stalks anymore :(
