Is he worth it?

No, there seem to be so many people trying to emulate him these days. He is making a lot of money making vulnerable youngsters feel small, ie belittling them to make himself big.. His talent seems to be for making money on their backs. It could be argued that they go on and know what they are in for, and doesn't he capitalise on it. It's probably the only opportunity they have of showcasing themselves before a wide audience. Most of them could be filtered out before appearing on national TV but they let them on so he can humiliate them - that's what it is for most of them and some of the winners havn't done too well, eg Steve Brookstein and Michelle McManus.
