I have just invested in a £12.99 MP3 player... ( Big Spender ! )

It should hold around 60 songs. I have managed to put 5 on...but it now says that the disc is full?? I think i need to shrink the files somehow?

Is there any tips out there on how to get more on.?

Im not overly technical so go gently on me please....

you need to reencode at a smaller bitrate
but you lose quality

theres free programs around that do that

or rip straight off cd to a smaller bitrate
i find 128 is the best trade off between size and quality, any less and it starts sounding crap.

i rip at 320 but they are larger file sizes
