Come on Paul,
narrow it down a bit, how much do you want to pay, how long is the stay for, pool leisure centre needed etc etc.

Ibis, next to Ponds Forge - about £46 per night
Travel Inn, Hilton & Holiday Inn - all within 5/10mins walking distance from the city centre.

Tell you what though - book early. I tried to book a hotel for last Saturday, just for one night. Not being very organised, I didn't get round to it till Thursday. I rang every hotel on Yell.com, and there were only three hotels that had any room - Hilton had rooms at £155 and £106, the Garrison had one at £49.50 and the Grosvenor at £49.50. A couple of small hotels in the suburbs had single rooms with no bathroom as well.

Amazing.

That's because independent figures compiled by city hotelier Herman Beck, chairman of Hospitality Sheffield, which showed business is booming with ¾ of hotel rooms full at any one time.

The occupancy rate rose by 5% in the first seven months of this year, putting the city on a par with York, Manchester and Newcastle.
