I'm thinking of ordering some sock yarn over the weekend from Web of Wool, though I'm torn between the Regia Canadian Colour on there, and the lovely Reds and Purples sock yarn on Get Knitted.

Does anyone have any experience with ordering from Web of Wool? How's their service? Speedy delivery?

I ordered my first sock kit from there - I was pleased with the service and would definitely use them again:D

I made an order 2 weeks ago for the first time. One of the Opal colours i wanted was out of stock which they told me about a few days later.

But, I thought the service was good, not as speedy as GK, and the refund for the yarn that was out of stock was done straight away, so no complaints from me:)

I've found web of wool really good, I've bought in person from there more than online, but they've always delivered quickly and I've never had any problems.

Try to go there in person if you're ever nearby though, it's sock heaven! (Oh, and go to Ben's Cookies while you're there.) My boyfriend is amazed how all roads in Leamington mysteriously lead there...:hihi:

Just to report that I got around to ordering from Web of Wool last week. I decided against the yarn (as I'd just bought all that lovely CTH from Woolly Workshop), but ordered some Addis and a pair of Brittany Birch straights. Very quick delivery (not quite as speedy as Woolly Workshop, which was phenomenally fast), but arrived within two days and very well packaged.
