Someone said hello in the street. Which was quite disarming, and upsetting.

Travelling on a bus last night, I saw a rather busty young lady wandering round her kitchen in her underwear.

I went to see a reflexologist on Monday, feeling at my lowest ebb ever. I did not expect to feel any change at all as I can't really make myself believe rubbing someone's feet could make any major difference.

However I felt better immediately and have continued to improve healthwise ever since, my fatigue has almost vanished for the first time in two years, and other problems have lessened.

I hope it lasts, but even if it doesn't, having 4 consecutive days without feeling bleurgh is wonderful :)

I got a new job recently, I start a week on Monday, doing admin in the Management Suite at Meadowhall... Well OK it's not quite a proper job yet per se, it's a placement that could lead to paid work.

I suppose the nicest thing to happen to us this week is that we no longer have to pay Council Tax,after paying it for 38 years.
A saving of around £1200 per year.
That"s because for the first time we qualify for certain benefits because of disability.

It's a small detail, but very sweet. My life is chaos at the moment, and my home (a very important concept to me) is a rubble infested tip during refurbishment. I'm having kittens at the expense of redoing my flat. So imagine my delight when I found, by the contractors' skips, lying on its back on the muddy grass, a perfect authentic retro easy chair upholstered in just the green I'm about to redecorate in, the same style as some of my other furniture, waiting to be adopted. It's so cool and it's so comfy, and would cost over £100 in a vintage shop, and if I sound hyperbolic about it, it's because I'll be sitting in it in future while I use my computer rather than this awkward thing I'm perched on now. Made my day. :)

One of my students did my hair in French Plaits for me so I didnt have to bother washing my hair over the weekend (with the broken arm in a cast, washing hair is near on impossible)

Lovely kid

That's very thoughtful. But haven't you invited your OH to wash your hair for you? That's rather a nice thing to happen. Light the candles and crack open the wine.

Hiya, this is absolutely nothing to do with the OP but, being 23 and having terrible credit at the mo (still about £12-£15k owing, several default notices, no longer accepted for any sort of credit), could i one day still get a mortgage?! does your debt have to be paid off and so mnay years elapsed before thatll happen? god that would make my day, knowing one day, there IS a way out of here!!!!

Campaigning at the top of Blackstock Road in the cold and drizzle this morning, a lady came to her door and told me how her dog had been injured by an off-road biker on the footpath. I felt dreadful until she thanked me for the barrier we'd put up to stop the bikers, introduced me to her lovely dog who is fit and well now and let me cuddle him. Left me feeling on top of the world.

Nice things happen to me all the time, and I'm always really grateful.

*Stagey came over last week with his friend Lee to help me declutter my house.
* Beautynbeast helped me with my four children last week during an emotional meltdown.
*A bunch of lovely people came to my birthday do.
*Other wonderful things, which like Fox says, will remain secret

I popped an extremely moist boil the other day and completely grossed the other passengers on the bus out.

Ok, so I was booted off the bus, but it was worth it. Its just a pity the driver didnt bother to stop the bus as I was kicked off.
