Im in the process of making my mind up about buying a car.
Of course you would never get a answer about reliability at a car garage but it would be nice if any forumers could give me their opinion/ratings etc.. on this car. It would help if you own one. Many thanks Rick

Get a TDCi mate, seriously good car to drive and nicely nippy too with good MPG.

Better resale values too

Have you looked at:

lots of info on the Fiesta, and just about every other car.

My parents have the 1.4 ghia (an 02 plate) and have found it very reliable. The couple of things they did need fixing were covered by the warranty and if i was in a position of having £9000, i'd buy a 1.4 zetec myself.

The driving position is set high and the drive itself is very enjoyable. Also, the alloys look lush! I would probably opt for the TDCi but the 1.4 petrol is a decent engine.

They are bringing out a sporty ST model before Christmas, so if you have the cash and the will for speed it might pay to wait a month or so.
