Anybody remember the old kelvin before they built the flats I lived on Jenkinson Street between the years 1957 to 1964,then they knocked it all down to build Kelvin Flats,some of the names I remember are Ward,May, Woodward, Cutts,Foster some of these names were on Kelvin Square these were the happiest days of my life,went to Upperthorpe and Daniel Hill school,Minniemee:)

Don't know if you've seen it but there are some excellent pictures of Kelvin from around '61 in JR Wrigley's 'A Walkley Camera'. Just before the flats were built and most of the houses are gone, but the streets are still in situ.
