If you could have anything you wanted for a romantic night in with your hubby/wife/wifelet/jabberwocky??! what would it be?

A nice meal, then snuggling up on the sofa with a bottle of wine and a dvd.

My romantic night in is a bottle of red, a decent film with some lovely nibbles and no work to do.

Trouble is I get drunk by necking the red back as quickly as possible, the films usually a chick flick (get scared otherwise) and you normally end up troughing all the choccies, licking the wrapper and lobbing the strawberries back in the fridge for the next time. I then lament about how much i've got to do and usually then sulk and go to bed.

I was talking about a nice quite night in and possibly popping to Meaks' favourite hostelry for some grub on another.... :nono: honestly :hihi:

a nice home cooked meal, candles, the two of us cuddled up on the sofa under a duvet and watching some tv/movies. in fact this is what we did on valentines day (watched topgear) and it was so nice.

My idea of a romantic night in is to be welded into a steel oil drum, then rolled down a hill while people with shotguns take pot shots at me.

Then, if I survive that, I like to cover my other half in Whelk wee-wee and attempt to set fire to her while she sings various songs from the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta "Pirates of Penzance".

I'm easily pleased... I appreciate the slightest bit of effort that someone has gone to, as I'm not used to fellas making much effort at all! lol! :roll: You've got to laugh about it really!

But yeah, light a few candles, put some mood music on, make me a cuppa coffee, or if you're really swish, a glass of white wine will go down nicely, and I'll feel like a princess :D

Nah, in all honesty I've got to settle for candles and easy-crap as I expect too much, and I get let down 10 times out of 10... Yes thats 10, not 9... lol!

turn the big light off, light some candles, some incense , put on some quiet background music, cuddle up on the sofa and talk, laugh, maybe drink and eat something, and then take it up to the bedroom and end the night in the best possible way, snuggled up together.

I got the flat ready lots of incense and fresh flowers and a bowl of hot water in the living room with some scented oils. I met him at the door dressed as a geisha, I removed his shoes and socks and walked him to the front room where I washed and oiled his feet. I then served him a meal and danced for him whilst he ate.
He loved It and treated me like a princess for nearly a whole day, which is good for him.

He was a little taken aback at first then he really enjoyed himself. We ended up having one of the most amazing and loving nights we've ever experienced, the only problem is now in order to regain that feeling we have to out do the geisha night. I think it's his turn but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Great, I do a fan dance and he waves the last chicken in the shop at me. Hardly seems fair.
He's not a romantic soul, too self concious for grand gestures but I love him anyway.

My ideal night in would be in my favorite place in the world (and my partners) the black isle a nice log fire and no inhibitions.
