It seems when Warnock puts a player on the transfer list it turns them into a better player:confused:

Good game to get us going, Paul Shaw may have himself taken off the list if he carries on like this, two very well taken goals! Tonge was quiet until his goal, Bromby unlucky as he took his eye off the ball to score the own goal.

What was with the sending off? It was a tangle between two players who stood up to each other. All they needed was a talking to by the ref, has the game gone soft or what?

I also thought Cademateri had a very good game, made some good runs and turns on the defence, chased down loose balls. He could be a good player with the looks of him. It was nice to see Liddel back, two very good runs set up two goals.

Come on u Blades!!!

Who is this new guy 'Shaw'?. It certainly is'nt the same one i saw playing last season!. Maybe he has a doppleganger?.
On a serious note though. I thought most of the team looked quite good today, Warnock may have found something in the Shaw/ Cadamatri partnership. I noticed before the match, someone mention Kabba coming back after xmas!.

cada impressed me today

shaw had 1 easy goal, and another that could go anywhere,
still not overly impressed by him

kenny, did what he needed to do

harley, quality as always

bromby, unlucky with the own goal, but any striker would be proud of such a finsh!!

jags looked good again

morgan, solid, and cant believe he got sent off!!

quinn, quality as always,

liddell, best game ive seen him have with us,

tonge did a tackle lol

thirlwell, quiet as always, but you cant fault his work ethic

gabrieli did a few decent touches when he came on.

also, looks like morgan red will be recinded

well its been a good few days now at the lane,

a superb performance on tuesday, but lucky forest got something out of it!!
3 points was deserved on our performance, even with 10 men,

tonge played great, shaw had a good game too, and cada was looking dangerous!!

also well done to liddell on his first goal for the blades

coming to yesterday
what an abysmal first half, in fact nothing to say on the matter
THEN
came the second half, we slaughtered them,
cada hit post after a deflection from a defender
(and somehow paul shaw was given as offside even though it came off the defender, dont know how that is possible)
there keeper made 3 great saves
Shaw had 2 volleys ON TARGET
the pressure was coming from everywhere

THEN......... out of the blue 50/1 for first goal score LEIGH BROMBY,
it was mayhem, what a cross from harley!!!

then not long later a great cross from corner off liddell and BANG 2-0,
i didnt even need to cheer, it was that perfection.

then we let foot off gas a bit and they came at us a bit, but still did not deserve to score, which they did off a decent corner.

Great result, against a very organised team!!

just a few comments about performances of some people

tonge was ball watching again, all this after such a terrific performance mid week

kenny, didn't need to do much
bromby looking good still
morgan and jags always solid
harley, mr fantastic, and the best signing i think in uniteds recent history, hence the reason i have him on back of my shirt
thirlwell, you never notice him much, but we would miss him if he was not there
liddell played well again
gray was not really effective, as was playing more towards midfield, i dont know why warnock plays him there, as to be honest, we miss his goals (yes i know he scored yesterday)
shaw, another decent game for him, and still creating chances
cada, good game for him, and he is starting to convince me he was worth buying!!

as for the referee
what a joke, there was a point where the played passed it back to keeper directly in front of him, PLAY On! whats that about?

directly in front of him AGAIN, think it was cada was going for ball, plymoth players comes in with studs showing, straight in his groin, play on. and then when he did not get up, we had possesion, the referee blew his whistle for treatment, and we passed the ball back to them, are we stupid??

another poor effort from referee, and i think this was the worst out of the lot, tonge was down near by line, trying to take on a player, and he was getting ragged all over, tonge eventually won corner, and THEN booked the plymoth player, i dont see the logic in this, he would not give a free kick, but he would give a yellow card!!
i know wrnock goes off about referees, but sometimes he really does have a justified case

RANT OVER

Well first half I think we were scared to go in to tackle after all the red cards, no one really went for any 50-50 chances. Plymouth though were strong down the middle at times.

Second half we came out fighting, but lazy again when it was 2-0 and survivied a Pelting of corners and shots late on.

Up the Blades.
