I've recieved a petition e-mail asking me to put my name on it. It's to be sent to Lady Justice Butler-Sloss (Schloss?) with regard to the two boys who tortured and murdered Jamie Bolger in 1993. Apparently these, now, young men are to be awarded anonimity, by her, for the rest of their lives when they leave custody with new indentities. They will leave early this year having served just over half their sentences. They are to be relocated to Australia to live out the rest of their lives. In the e-mail there is a description of the tortures inflicted on Jamie Bolger, revolting! Jamie Bolgers mother was not allowed to view the body. I'd value comments on this decision.

Thompson and Venables were released on a life license in June 2001, after serving eight years of their life sentence (reduced for good behaviour), when a parole hearing concluded that public safety would not be threatened by their rehabilitation into society.

An injunction was imposed, shortly after the trial, preventing the publication of details about the boys, for fear of reprisals by members of the public. The injunction remained in force, following their release, so that details of their new identities and locations could not be published.

Location has not been identified, but they live in the UK. That email did the rounds here - its spam designed to be emotional...to get you to forward it on..."to everyone you know" Anything that says this is just designed to bring down mail servers. Delete anything that says this.
