I will shortly have a washing machine surplus to requirements. Anybody know of an organisation or charity which might be interested and willing to collect (from Intake) ??

Try St Vincent de Paul which is underneath the church on queens road. They helped me when I had nothing. Since then I try to give back when I can. They collect too.
