I phoned them once when First's website was down. They were very helpful and told me which bus numbers I needed to catch to get to London Road from the city centre.

I helped write the very first software used on travelline donkeys years ago, and am now back in the PTE doing stuff on other travel information systems!

I've used Travelline on numerous occasions over the years - seems to be a good service to me!

I use the traveline and everytime i have the staff are lovely and very helpfull.

However.....when the changes happened after the strike i called several times as i was unsure what buses went to my area and stopped at what stop, but each time i was given wrong information and had to ask drivers who where better informed!

But apart from that keep up the good work !!

The people who call up are usually lovely, but many are a pain <removed>

Generally they are good they are specially useful for people who are incapble of using on line journey planners, it may be worth giving the number out to try and stop the "HOW DO I GET TO " threads

There are problems somethimes with the call centre staff not having information regarding future service changes sometimes not even knowing there is a change , even when the changes have been registered and the information is in the public domain

They are very very good if you are reporting damage to bus shelters especially out of hours

Perhaps someone can tell me who would be the right people to ask about bus stops.
My bus M22 has no bus stop incoming at Castle Market (from Firth Park)
It used to have but it has suddenly disappeared from the signs.

i always seem to get the same guy on the other end of the phone, he sounds cute :hihi:

either ring travel line or fill a pte complaint form in or go on the pte travel site and fill the form as the service is still running I suspect it is a PTE stop error where its dropped off the list by accident, there are problems with signage on pte bus stops , however, contact the pte so

Thanks, I have submitted a form online. Here's hoping.

Everytime I've used this helpline the service has been exemplory - very helpful staff and timetables if asked for come a couple of days later as promised. Can't praise the service highly enough! There's no comparison to other so-called helplines which tend to be so frustrating - waiting for ages to find they can't or won't help you when you do finally get through.:clap:

really friendly service and one lady is so friendly can't think of her name maybe jane???? everytime i get her i always smile and think what a nice lady. wish i knew her name because she really is a credit to travel line

Honestly i've rang this service alot of times for various bus & train information. The staff are ALWAYS very polite and cheery sounding on the phone:)
