I rang the council up to complain about my neighbour and the representive laughed..... is this the councils new policy towards loud neighbours?
Every night this person trys to play Beethoven/beatles on this organ and plays all the records out of tune.
We live in a terrace house and so he can be heard through the walls, and can be heard sometimes late into the night.
What can be done? the council won't do anything ... except LAUGH:rant:
Have you asked him personally to turn it down? Would be a good place to start.
(If he refuses, then try 101.)

You could always give him a knock and ask him to help you with moving a chest of draws up your staires.
ask him to pick said chest up by the bottom the drop your side so he takes the full weight on his fingers.
happy days..........no more tinkerling Beethoven :)
Failing that keep a diary of when this noise takes place and keep on at council to get someone out to measure the noise level?
My friend went through something like this and this is what council told her to do.
YOu wouldn't call it live music if you heard it, the guy plays with his organ and makes a real din, every night.
Try putting up with the noise before altering the title

Right, I'll be round in a bit with a sleeping bag and a change of clothes. We'll stop changing titles when you stop with the trolling. :)

Write to your MP and say that the Council are not prepared to do anything about it. You will get a result.

Well, we've had plenty of reasonable suggestions, and some smutty ones I've deleted. :)
I think it's time to close this one now.
