brisbane, you are a little "tinker"!

Short and sweet. Beautifully timed too. Eat your hearts out, you fishermen out there! :hihi:

I liked this, brisbane. The little descriptive touches make it, the 'handful of maggots' round the float, particularly. Not having ever been fishing before, I appreciated the attention to detail.

Very well done. :)

Thank you for the lovely comments Shoeshine and Gypsy Hack. Glad you liked it. I was worried I had come to an quick ending but the lines of the A4 were decreasing.
I spent most of my childhood going fishing and sitting and watching my dad watching his float. Unfortunately for him the most he caught sometimes was his jumper in the fishing hook. :hihi:

Nice one Brisbane.
Never been fishing myself but your story makes me want to try, I sense a bit of passion in your writing, a good writer? or just a dedicated angler?

Hi Pattrica and Coyleys,
Thanks for your comments.

I spent many a childhood holiday watching my dad fish and would have a little rod of my own too, but I didn't have the patience of my dad and would want to make too much noise.

As for a fishman or woman Pattrica, it's a woman, then again not been as an adult just as a nipper! :hihi:
