Has anyone got any old pics of houses in High Green, preferably the Westwood Dam area. Ive got an old house here and wondered if there were any old pictures of it kicking around.

Hello. There are photographs of Westwood Row in two books from 'The Images of England' series. One book is called 'Ecclesfield, Grenoside, High Green and Chapeltown'. The picture is on page 22. The other book is called 'Chapeltown and High Green', and the picture is on page 29. There are other photographs of High Green, together with information, in the books. Chapeltown Library should be able to help, as will the Chapeltown and High Green Archive people, as they are the brains behind the projects.
