I am aware that he has been banned from this forum, but rumour has it that he has a tendency to reappear like Lazarus, although under different usernames. However, I have not seen even an apparition of him on the forum in the last few days. He used to be quite easy to spot, regardless of his username. Thus his grammar and spelling were both of a high standard; he showed an ability to demonstrate and sustain a coherent argument; and he was uncompromising in his expression of his beliefs, even some of these were regarded by certain other forumers as outrageous and beyond the pale. I think many forumers would acknowledge that he was an interesting and accomplished poster, regardless of whether or not you agreed with him.

If he does decide to come back, my advice to him would be to try to throw the mods of the scent, by for example, choosing an unlikely name (such as 'Ladyboy' or 'DancingQueen'); by inserting some elementary grammatical or spelling errors into his posts; by toning down some of his more forthright and politically incorrect opinions; and by being a little more deferential to the mods. I've just had a thought - perhaps he has done this already and is with us now. But then again, Bartfarst wouldn't be Bartfarst if he followed the suggestions above. Perhaps some legends are best left as they are.

One bit of the 'legend' I feel I need to put right before clsing this thread.

Bartfarst was never banned for being politically incorrect or having unpopular opinions. He was banned because he had trouble expressing those opinions in a way that wasn't deliberately abusive and offensive to other users of this Forum.
