Does anybody know when this pub is gonna reopen? There's a sign in the window saying 'booking for xmas' but no dates!!!!

its had the builders in for the last few months doing it up, the sign for christmas bookings probably appeared about a month ago or so but no news as to when it will open or style of the pub

the old crown inn on scotland street is open and the pub is available for free booking for partys and you only pay for the buffet and drinks.

Apparantly it has re-opened now looking very smart with a selection of real ales and food. However every time I've tried to go it's been shut, I can only assume it's currently not open midweek evenings.

It is open durin the day, I went in and had some food there and it is looking lovely, also had my sons Christening party there and it was brilliant. The room was free and the staff were ace, everyone said wat a good night it was. Think at the mo it's not open in the evenings after 7 except for private functions but they have got cheap drinks for a happy hour from 5 i think.
