Has anyone ever done a challenge event for charity?
I am organising a presentation evening and would lke to invite anyone interested along who might be interested in coming and hearing about Cycling accross Mexico or Trecking in Iceland - i work for Macmillan Cancer Relief and we are trying to encourage as many people as possible to get involved next year.

I take it these would be sponsored events?

Something that's put me off this kind of thing in the past is they seem to require an awful lot of sponsorship which I thought would just be too hard to get... just how easy is it to get enough to take part in one of these events?
