Sorry I can't help with Picture it software, but I am at my wit's end trying to find a version of it to solve a problem I have, maybe you could help me?. I produce books, and I have a habit of making all the photographs I put into the books oval shaped. I had a version of Picture It in 2003 that I think was version 3. The reason I liked that version was that I could put a fading border on an oval photo. The later versions allow that, but, when the picture is pasted into MS Pub, (the software I use for all my books), the border, instead of being a smooth fade, shows up as a checkerboard border.
Any information on that? oldtimer

If you can get or even have a copy of "Ulead Photo Express" (it might be on a CD that came came with a digital camera or scanner if you have one, that has an oval trimming option and varying degrees of edge softening. I'm probably wrong, but if the edges are showing up as checkerboard, the picture you're using may be of too low a resolution.

can this be sent via email...?????You should be able to E mail it. I often send bigger stuff out to my friends by E Mail. If by some remote chance you're using dial up it would take forever, but broadband etc. should do it quickly.
