Tom Waits does some great stuff, my favourite is Closing Time.

Last night I saw a new? Sheffield band with a name something like - Molingo.

Excellent revved up group with a huge array of musicians and instruments.

Can anyone help me get the name right, please?

I saw them on Graham Norton, Channel 4 and missed their name.

I did not get tickets to the London show and for that I am sad. Will definitely have to catch him somewhere else yet.

Rain Dogs....really enjoyed that.

My two favourite tracks of his are Downtown Train (even survived a Rod Stewart cover) and Heart Attack and Vine.

Something of an acquired taste - when I first heard him I hated him, but it grew on me like topsy...:)

Yeah I tried to get tickets too - 2 hours of repeat dialling for nothing. They're going for over £200 a ticket now!

If you like the new album then I'd recommend Bone Machine next. Then you could pretty much choose any album you want - there really isn't a bad one among them. Beware his earlier stuff though, it's quite different in style (much more more bar-room piano crooner). I highly recommend the Swordfishtrombones / Frank's Wild Years / Rain Dogs trilogy of albums, absolutely astounding.
