A new Tori Amos album is apparently due to be released in May. From the photo here (http://perezhilton.com/topics/tori_amos/forget_about_britney_20070220.php), it looks like it could hark back to the themes from 'Little Earthquakes', still her finest album to date.

I wonder if she'll have developed her own style, now she's spent the last 10 years impersonating Kate Bush?

I always thought Baroness Amos was one of Blair's token 'twofer' peers and batted for the Labourite side. She also has an uncanny resemblance to Grace Jones. I am so pleased to hear that she is a Tori (hopefully of the real, rather than the Cameronite, kind).

tori amos is without doubt a superb songwriter and pianist. shes extremely clever, sensitive and sexy.

sadly she has a lot to answer for because of her we have to suffer meredith brooks, alanis morrisette, katie melua, amy winehouse, avril lavigne and many many others

They do sound similar, I agree. They have distinct song-writing styles though, and their albums are very different. I like them both, but on the whole I prefer Tori Amos. Kate Bush's last album was rather too self-indulgent for me, and a bit of a let down after waiting all those years.
