Looking for a guitarist for our band and wondering if any of you could suggest places to post online or stick postcards etc....

Many thanks,

Ed

Get to Malin Can-U-Jam on Sunday afternoon, 4-30-7-30. There's always a few musicians looking for bands. Look on myspace at Can-u-Jam site.

Could try putting up cards in dressing rooms in appropriate venues in the area.

Alright dude!

Yeah shame about the demise of the 'ship and the subsequent mental deterioration of Geez it seems (judging by recent posts on sheffsounds)....

You all solo now? No plans for another band?

There's also a 'musicians wanted' board in most Sheffield musical instrument shops, such as Sound Control by the Showroom and those guitar shops on London Road.

LMAO, :hihi:
geez was always mental, just come out the shell a little more ;)

me, im getting my finances sorted, after having just got a job, and then a DnB effort of some sort seems to be on the horizon in the not too distant future. have yet to sort out a full plan for this but have all the basics lines up methinks.
quite exciting.

whats going on with your lot? you lost a guitarist or just looking to gain some more volume?

More volume, more compexity and just to free up Dave a bit - too often he's stuck behind some complicated arpeggios and unable to engage the crowd very well.

Look forwrd to the drum n bass offering mate! Awesome.

Edd was thinking of starting a hip hop collective...maybe you could provide some interesting beats...

Would also suggest practice rooms, eg Yellow Arch Studios.
