My cat, like most cats I'm guessing, pulls her food off the plate and leaves it all over the kitchen floor when she's eating, and I just wondered if anyone has any ideas how to stop her doing it?

All my cats have done that, weird isnt it. I have never tried to stop them though as I dont know how you would, although I do have a mat under the cats bowls and that catches most of the mess.

one of ours does it too, the other just scoffs!!!

we have a plastic mat under the food bowl, but she quite often misses that too... so far we've not solved the problem, just mopping up... :gag:

I'm not sure you can stop them doing it.. It's what cats do..
My cat does it and just like em3978 and TattyBear, we put a mat under her bowls and clean up as and when needed..

Ours does do it a bit less now that she's realised that her brother nicks a bit from her bowl every time she eats off the floor instead.... :hihi:

I used to have a mat underneath, but now she has started dragging it right across the kitchen, my husband is going mad!!!

And I don't want a new one, she is too adorable!!
