i am having a colesterol check up this morning at 10, i know i cant eat or drink but does this include water as well,im gasping for glass of water :sad:

Yes, you can drink water.

You're supposed for fast for 12 hours before the cholesterol test but, because that tends to make me ill, my diabetic nurse suggested having a piece of fruit, just to boost my blood sugars, but not tell them when I went for the test.

I tend to have the test and then find the nearest sandwich bar as quickly as possible.

EDIT: Please don't eat anything before the test ~ that was just a bit of personal advice that my nurse gave me because I get so ill when my blood sugars drop too low.

that will be me ann as well,i tried to make the appointment for 8.30 but of course it was all booked up,i had a few drinks yesterday so im very thirsty this morning,so if its ok to drink water thats what im off to do.
