We are currently fielding quotes from various double glazing companies to do our whole house. The quotes are fairly similar, but we can't decide who to go with.

I was wondering how other people decided on which company to go with, and how to go about getting the best price.

For instance, is it possible to haggle with Sheffield Windows (seeing as they don't pester you) ?

Any advice, tips, horror stories, gratefully received.

I haven't got a clue but i'd haggle if i was you!

the best thing to do is not use one of the big firms, you are paying for overheads aswell as the product regardless of quality . I can price the job for you and it will be cheaper because I have no overheads , references can be supplied.
