How amazing was that gig? Did anyone else go? Bought a song book so people who grace the Irish pubs, expect to hear some Kate Rusby copiers :)

I was there - it was fantastic. One of the best gigs I've been to in ages.

was incredible, nice little session mid way thru the concert, was absolutely fantastic!

I'm fed up of her getting the only folkie media attention. her and them Waterson-Carthys. There's lots of equally talented people out there who need the publicity.

It was my very first Kate Rusby experience and since I had no expectations, it exceeded them easily. Fantastic stuff. From where I was sitting I couldn't quite make out, but was she wearing wellies?

Nice fairly lights too.

To echo everybody what a great concert, The Grimethorpe Brass band was the icing on the cake. It was our 9 year old sons first gig and he really enjoyed it, singing along.

If you want a good concert try Runrig next time around, we have following them for about 16 years and still enjoy their concerts, Not folk more Gaelic Rock!!!!!!!

Flook are playing the Highcliffe next month! Eep!
