View Full Version : MS anti-malware vulnerable to malware... sallonoroff 15-02-2007, 10:09 Enjoy... http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37629 :) Space 15-02-2007, 11:40 There are vulnerabilities in all software. At least these things come to light and are patched. Its a shame they have to patch stuff but its an unfortunate state of the world now that there are people out there who don't even know you who are trying to wreck your computers. melthebell 15-02-2007, 17:36 There are vulnerabilities in all software. At least these things come to light and are patched. most are NOT as vunrable as micro$oft software tho tbh and DONT get patched as often Kingmaker2 15-02-2007, 18:42 Yep I just posted this in the Vista thread regarding Windows defender and Live One : http://www.normantranscript.com/commerce/local_story_042004527?keyword=secondarystory I already know Windows defender is pretty useless as I tried it for a couple of months last year, attracted by it's "Real Time" protection but it failed to pick up malware that both Adaware and Spybot were able to detect. Whoever thought of the Vista's "Wow" slogan really deserves to be shot!:suspect: |
