What would your choice be for your last meal ?

Mine would be my Moms meat and potato pie.

Sorry, but it has to be a chippy.

Chips, cheese, beans and large battered sausage from the Devonshire Chippy (after about 25 units of alcohol, of course).

Unbeatable

14" Veg, with extra chicken, from Benitos in Hackenthorpe.

Or

12" Deep Pan Margarita with Chilli, Mush and onion, from the Warwick in Carlisle.

As seen as its the last day... I would prefer to eat it off of Patrick Stewarts head!

Yum!

Crispy duck with plum sauce, cucumber, spring onion and pancakes. Yum!

You can come to dinner anytime - it doesn't even have to be your last with a request that simple :D

Baked beans, mushy peas with a side order of boiled eggs, washed down with a pint or three of Wards best bitter.

I would have a mushroom vindaloo and peshwari nan from Jannath's takeaway, then I'd ring Chatanoga at Woodseats and get them to deliver a hot and spicy pizza, then I would ring Jasmine Garden in Long Eaton and get them to come over with some chips and curry sauce and I'd wash it down with a couple of gallons of Strongbow. After all that I would probably be ready to die anyway lol

I would have one of my grandad's meat and potato pie's, special fried rice, chips and mushrooms in sauce from Kin's Kitchen and a 16" house special from Pizza Pan and Grills on London rd and to finish off i would have two mini fillet burgers from KFC.

Then they could take me away and fry me alive, I'd take the whole flunkin building with me! :hihi:

I was warmed to the very soles of my feet to find that the Nursery Tavern sells fish finger butties  with optional cheese and a serving of chips and salad (just to make it balanced  )

My mum, bless her, created three meals that I'd have to choose from :

Home made meat and potatoe pie and chips.

Chicken stew with dumplings.

Cow heel and shin with lots of fresh baked bread.

The years have passed since my mum died but the memory of those meals lasts.

I guess I'd give a heck of a lot to have any one of them and just let her know what a fine cook she was.

:)
