Arghhhhh! I am sick to death of checking estate agents websites and when I call to arrange a viewing - the houses are SOLD! But then they tell me about new instructions that they have that they haven't even put on their websites yet...
UPDATE THEM PLEASE!!!

I know what you mean. I phoned them about a house I'd seen online and was told it had been sold 4 days earlier - nice one Haybrooks.

They seem to be very bad at responding to online queries as well.
Many use sites such as vebra and rightmove but the facilities they provide to get more information and book viewings are completely redundant as they never respond.

we phoned to book a few viewings and all the houses were sold! so we asked them why they hadn't updated it then, they said that its because they don't take the houses off until the sale had completely gone through.mainly is haybrooks! i think blundells take the houses off straight away when an offer is on them.

It's down to the efficiency of each office. If they take the time to up date their info daily, it would be upto date. The sites update automatically on a daily basis, but the engines will only take the info left for them.
No new info = No new update.

They don't even need to do that though. Reeds Rains has a nice system where they just tell you where it's for sale, under offer or sold subject to contract. Nice and clear.
