Not a bad place to live by any means. The road can be very busy at times, but on the plus side you have Rivelin valley at the side of you - some beautiful walks to be had and plenty of wildlife around. There are some reasonable pubs around too - the Robin Hood at Litle Matlock isn't far away and well worth a brisk stroll. Real ales and decent food.

Its a nice area close to loads of local amenities and of course Rivelin on yoo're doorstep but It would be an absolute nightmare for parking

The road is too busy for my liking, but at least you have a tram stop nearby. Hillsbrough shops are only a ten minute walk away. I think I'd prefer a side street if I were moving to Malin Bridge though.

Ideally that what we wanted for our first home but we are first time buyers and the house was just a bit cheaper due to its location.

If you have a car, check how much spare offside wing mirrors are!
