Halibut 14-02-2007, 04:11 PM Not a bad place to live by any means. The road can be very busy at times, but on the plus side you have Rivelin valley at the side of you - some beautiful walks to be had and plenty of wildlife around. There are some reasonable pubs around too - the Robin Hood at Litle Matlock isn't far away and well worth a brisk stroll. Real ales and decent food. sam1984 14-02-2007, 04:16 PM Its a nice area close to loads of local amenities and of course Rivelin on yoo're doorstep but It would be an absolute nightmare for parking deelightful3 15-02-2007, 04:23 PM i grew up on Malin rd which runs off stannington rd,it was great for walking to Rivelin only took about 10-15 mins to get there, its a lot busier now on that rd though NicholasB 17-02-2007, 01:30 PM The road is too busy for my liking, but at least you have a tram stop nearby. Hillsbrough shops are only a ten minute walk away. I think I'd prefer a side street if I were moving to Malin Bridge though. coops 17-02-2007, 07:03 PM Ideally that what we wanted for our first home but we are first time buyers and the house was just a bit cheaper due to its location.
