We're looking for a builder to build a 3 car garage with a 2 bedroom flat on top. Its next to an existing property in ranmoor and we have a copy of the plans that have been submitted to the council.


Anyone who is interested in having a look at the site and the plans is more than welcome to quote for the job.

We have however had some ridiculous quotes for it...i'm talking in the region of 175k!!! Guess some people just try to take advantage if they see a house in a nice area!!!!

You won't get an accurate price without the detailed plans , however that amount seems pretty extreme . Feel free to contact me regarding this and I'll see if I can help you out in some way .

i am a builder and specialize in extensions, lots of work and satisfied customers in s7 area.
i know what your talking about, basically whats happening is that builders are post code quoting. i get it all the time in the millhouses area where i work a lot. i charge the same price whichever area i work in. i have seen some quotes from my customers and i know that in some cases 30per cent has been added on by the builder.
