Has anyone used Adios and did they work? Any bad side effects? Or can you recommend a diet pill that does work (as part of calory controlled diet, obviously).

I've been looking at them but am still pondering on whether to try them or not but our household has just started doing a lot of excercise at the moment which may mean I don't need to try them after all.

Are they as expensive as Adios Meaks?

Two a day (before 3pm) - 150 capsules are about 35 quid I think, although you can get them in smaller quantities. Is that about 50p a day (its late)?
There are some night time ones as well but didn't bother too much with them.

Drink plenty of water too.

Orlistat works by blocking the absorbtion of fats in your diet. They do work....

Believe me, you will be terrified of eating anything with fat in it! :hihi:

go to Holland & Barrett & get anything with Kelp in it, they do one that you take up to "that time of the month" for the ladies,as they are all basically diuretics.

i'm sure it was Golbo or something - men can take it all the time. it works abut makes you P like a donkey at first.

i used to take diet pills, but as soon as i lost some weight and stopped taking them, no matter how good i was eating i ended up putting all the weight back on and more.

Id rather eat healthily now that put my body through anything like that again, it cant be very good, and so far eating healthy has made me feel a hell of a lot better even though its only been for a couple of weeks.

diet pills only work if you work your ass off in the gym aswell as calorie counting.

Meaks

Not strictly true - I lost about 2 stone on pills without very much exercise. I guess a lot of it is psycholgical and I doubt it can be healthy, but if it keeps you buzzing and supresses the appetite then as a temporary measure it helps.
Also having sea kelp twice a day can help.

I've looked at 'em a few times, if they work Meaks i'm gonna give 'em a go. I could do with losing a couple of stone.

it is very psychological, i think it was the novelty of trying some new diet that worked for me, then it soon wore off and although i was taking the tablets i went back to the usual eating habits and the tablets made no difference.

I would save your money and just eat healthily, it will be better for your wallet and your body in the long run

not always true..

i used trimmers after i had my liitle girl, who is now 3 and a half.
They worked really well i went from a size 14 to a size 10 and that was just using the trimmers and the excersise bike for half an hour a day.
I still havn't put the weight back on..in fact im smaller around the waist now than i was when i lost it all.

I have tried adios before, but didn't take them regularly enough (kept forgetting).

My big concern is that they claim to speed up your metabolism, which will help weight loss. However when you stop taking them your metabolism will come down and your base metabolic rate will be less - basically you need less caloriess just to exist, so your 'maintenance' calories intake will be less than you are used to - weight will go back on unless you are really careful.

There really is no alternative to exercise and healthy diet.

Quite right.

I use LA Fat Strippers, eat a calorie controlled low carb diet, and go to the gym.

They do work, but it is hard to tell just how well as so many variables are at play.

Just a quick question; can you buy orlistat over the counter, ive never heard of it.

No its prescription only, you need to speak to your doctor. It works by blocking the absorption of fat in the gut, but it can have unpleasent side effects if you eat to much fat.

I think trimmers are good and cheaper from ebay, i used to get mine from ebay and it was a guy from barnsley, who supplied em.

I have asked geoff, to see if we could have a "intrest group" on weight loss/support, but not had no response as yet.

Do you think it would be a good idea, and would you use it, to help one and other with tips and advice, menu ideas...i do.....

Adios, trimmers etc are diuretics so all you loose is water NOT body fat. If you call into our sports shop on Ecclesall Road we are quite happy to give you advice. There's also info on weight loss on our web site www.getphysical.co.uk

Nope, it's prescription only. Unless you're in america...you can get them over the counter there, but they are about £50+ quid.
They work tho, but have quite embrassing side effects should eat anything "bad" eg pizza
You'll ahve smelly, fatty stools that don't flush, trump alot and sometimes leaks fat from your bum...!
Try something else first i'd say!!!

Good luckJust a quick question; can you buy orlistat over the counter, ive never heard of it.

Also having sea kelp twice a day can help. Amphetamine (Mothers little helpers..Rolling stones) allways work but when you reply to comments about them on a forum the person taking them always gets a little terse and objectionable.. ;)
