There are SO many answers to this question. :)

Having said that - I think they've been re-writing it and it seems to be available now.

I agree wholeheartedly! One might even reply by asking the obvious, sarcastic and age old question of "What is right with the Star Website?

You so hit the nail on the head !

I stopped buying the Star years ago, the website is just full of the same bias views rubbish... top news today is "Road Safety Shock" where the Star claims it would take 242 years to "battle" through the waiting list...

But then you read the article, it then clarifies that there are 242 "requests" for crossings... which possibly includes multiple requests for crossings at a site... the article also claims that the council only has enough money to one or two schemes a year... if you count the "crossings budget" then yes, if you include all the crossings that are integrated into other schemes, then the number per year goes up... I personally have been involved in EIGHT ! sites in the last 12 months, either completed on site or due to be completed in the next few months... plus a zebra, plus sites that other people in the office have been involved in... plus the 10's of crossings provided in the major schemes in the last year... plus all the sites that just need a little bit of local road narrowing...

The Star is again, full of bull !

Whats the other headlines... "Police dogs show off skill", "Paul opens an Exhibition" :gag:

The server speed? problem of The Star website is not peculiar to today's conditions.

It got massively worse after their last upgrade/redesign which coincided with the changes made to all the group's newspapers' websites.

They are all slower.

The Star website is closer to a history theme than a news one.

Waste of time.
