View Full Version : Sex ,can you live without it?
royjames 09-10-2004, 19:07 I have thought about this for a while now and I have come to the conclusion that the physical aspect of having sex is something that I dont think I coul'd go without for any length of time
If I happen to go without for a period of say a week or so then I get very iritable,so this leads me to the conclusion that I am probably like the typical male who needs the physical aspect of sex to stay happy and contented.
Hving spoken to my male friends they think the same yet my female friends say they can take it or leave it.
I wonder why this is the case.that women are less botherd that us men.
I am no expert but i think it has something to do with the fact that men are stimulated much easier through images and females in general and us girls need a bit more influencing?
Men are designed to plant their seeds here there and every where, where as women are much more chosey, has something to do with finding the right partner to make the healthiest baby, of course we are not aware of these inner workings , but thats what I hear any way.
How long can a man go then? without I mean?? in your and your friends opinion?
royjames 09-10-2004, 19:41 Well I suppose I have been lucky in that I have not gone without for more than a couple of wks.
Some of my friends have gone without for months, male friends I may add.
So you go along with the sowing the sead idea? I dont think that is all it comes down to though.
I think you have a point about men getting aroused more easily but surely females also can get the same reaction.
It just mystifies me why women are able to take it or leave it,or maybe it shows the female to be stronger than the male?
Perhaps many women have never known true satisfaction :shakes:. What they've never had, they'll never miss .
A.B.Yaffle 09-10-2004, 21:21 I could live without it for ages until I met my fiancee... and I didn't need those adult links either! Although I live near the red light district too Roy!
royjames 09-10-2004, 21:33 lol Patchy,me too but dont think I woul'd be tempted by some of the women I see out of my window.
A.B.Yaffle 09-10-2004, 21:49 Oh no! You're not that bloke we call Mr Binoculars in the tower block on the corner of Mitchell Street and Brightmore Drive are you??:o
After a few days i start looking like this  , then i start getting the shakes :shakes: .

How about another poll:
Your left/right hand, can you live without it?

Nature make it hard for young people to resist doing it.

miniminch 10-10-2004, 18:57 I'm not unpleasant looking but I have gone without any for two years. I consider myself as celibate except not for religious reasons. This is the longest I have been without it since I was about 13!! You do get used to it.
My problem I can't just have it with anyone - there has to be some emotion - may be love. I hve not been in love for some time :(

You were having sex when you were 13? :?
royjames 10-10-2004, 20:57 I have got to say that mimi is a hero having gone so long without it,you say you get used to the idea ?I take it the sex drive goes down somewhat the longer you go without.
I dont know if having to be attached to a person is a reason to go without but at least you are not shallow like some.
Anyway I hope your abstinence comes to an end in the near future.
cornfed_pig 11-10-2004, 13:40 3 years 8 months so far...

Yodameister 11-10-2004, 13:51 The things you can't live without are food, water, warmth.
Noone ever died of lack of sex as far as I know.
Callassa 11-10-2004, 13:59 In Texas, there is a strange attitude toward SEX. Recently a woman was given a two year prison sentence for hosting SEX PARTIES in her house. In the same state, two GAY MEN were given prison sentences when following a tip off the cops burst into their apartment and found them doing something anti Bible. In certain parts of the world that have to remain nameless, if the woman in a marriage finds her husband is less than the rodding bull, (if ever he was) and goes off to find a new buck, she can be flogged in public and/or executed (which she often is). Whereas it's fine for the man to do this. Gee wiz. CALLASSA

royjames 12-10-2004, 14:51 Ilaria, you give out too much information lol.
Besides how do you know hes all that unless you have been with others to compare.
Just out of interest how old is your boyfriend? Because the older you get the better you become, like the old saying says practice makes perfect.
And I am VERY good, having had plenty of practice.
Mod: Roy - that's far too much information too you old bugger!
I'm closing this for a while until the steam clears from the windows. :)
