Hi there
I have a free internet from Orange since I already have a mobile line with them ... I have been using their SpeedTouch USB boradband which is not wireless ... I called Orange and asking if I can get a wireless for free, they said I should buy my own wirless router ,,, so has anyone did so, and should it work? or what do I need to get a wireless internet through orange... Also do u recommend or have any used wireless router which I can buy... any advice is appericiated please

I doubt any provider will give you wireless for free.

As for Wireless routers, apparently the Netgear ones are good, as are the D-Link ones like I have.

It's just that the Sky Broadband router I'm on at the moment at my Mum and Dad's is a piece of crap, times out regularly and has to be reset, crashes loads as well, but will Sky do anything about it? Nope :rant:

But to be fair it only winds me up when I come back here, it doesn't bother Dad and he's the main user of this PC.

Might be worth mentioning, but Sky do actually give you all the kit for wireless internet free with all their packages. You have to ave Sky TV though...
