Yeah it's worth it - it's got a great FREE Web Design package and Music/Film editing suite built in.

Worth the install IMO :D

Remote desktop is one aspect that's very useful when it comes to users who need some helping hands (although there are other ways of doing it)..

Also, it's a lot better when it comes to networking control...

No idea where that thought came from, but no... you should be fine with a mouse or keyboard that works with your hardware...

In case you're thinking about USB, PS2, or the old style keyboard/mouse plugs All versions of XP will support whatever your hardware/motherboard supports...
