What score do you thing the match between England v Wales will be.If England play 3 up front I think they could suffer in midfield as Beckham is not playing at his best.Playing Owen & Defoe up front & Rooney playing behind them is a bad idea,Owen should not be in the team.At one time if you did not play regular first team football you would not get in the national team,but I guess is favouritism on Ericksson's part.Beckham last good match was against Greece some time ago.But as I like Owen as a player I think him going to Madrid was a huge mistake.But you never know he might do a Germany & get a hat trick.3v1 to England.C'mon England.

I like the 3 up front. It's very positive for a change and the opposition struggle to cope with the pace.

no doubt rooney is world class but had he been a bit less greedy today it would have been 4 or even 5-0

It appears that Beckham fancied staying in Spain rather than a trip to Azerbaijan.

He charged in like a Sunday league pubster and then ends up limping off himself. When is he going to learn that if someone gets the better of him that he can't just be hellbent on revenge.

I fail to understand why Hargreaves keeps getting a game when he doesn't play well in an England shirt. Hopefully there will be room for Shaun Wright-Phillips next week.

I agree with Lickszz, Hargreaves is far more defensive and he does not look as comfortable as Wright Phillips on the ball. Hopefully Sven will go with Wright-Phillips next week but with Defoe, Owen and the genius Rooney up front, Sven may not think we need someone quite so attack minded on the right.

England had a good game I thought, we seemed to pass the ball very well and kept possession.

He was poor yes. Motson wasn't much better either. With the first Beckham/Thatcher incident, Thatcher got the ball and stood firm but as usual he didn't see it or didn't comment, he should have retired along with Davies.

Motty is a joke. When he was introducing the line-ups and kept doing school related puns like 'diplomas' 'classmate' and several other awful ones I wanted to burn the TV. Le Saux was appalling. He kept talking about himself, saying how he played with great passion for England, he scored against Brazil, and most hillariously of all 'I still feel that I should be playing today in my own little way'. Thank goodness Sven doesn't. Twerp.

England passed really well,the best i've seen for some time.Beckham had a reasonable game except for the stupid retalliation tackle,but the Welsh lad caved his ribs in & he got the foul??.Owen played better,Rooney was greedy with a few efforts but that is his age.All the rest of the team played well as a unit.Rio was in control with Campbell & Neville.But Wales were poor Hartson want's to lose about 3 stone.

as for owen, why do we bother playing him?? he should of had a few goals, but he was being so selfish and seemed he needed to prove a point cause he being a flop in spain!!

You are right in saying Hartson is overweight. He is too slow and it showed when he came up against decent defenders how ordinary he was made to look. No wonder he excels in the SPL. :D :clap:
