Do you think they'll play or will it be postponed due to the weather?

If the under soil heating works - the pitch will be finwe but the stands/ surrounding roads are what will make the decision. I just hope that if its canceled, its nice and early.

Yeah, I think the pitch will probably be ok, don't know what the roads will be like though, and don't envy anyone travelling up from London!

They should have a 'retro' day.

Let the pitch get covered, then get on the radio in the morning and ask fans to go down with snow shovels and clear the pitch. Then play with an orange ball, none of the players can wear gloves or a vest. Them that cleared the pitch get a free ticket for the next home game - those were the days!!!

Happy days barnie eh?
Never used to be a problem when the pavements and streets around the ground were deep in snow either!
If the match is off tomorrow, you can guarantee that is shall be due to the 'Health & Safety' w****rs, worried about a bit of slush on John Street.

I recall something similar to this happening at Hillsborough when Wednesday played Arsenal in the first of their 5 FA Cup 3rd round matches/replays. I'll never forget the barrage of snowballs coming from the then uncovered Kop towards Pat Jennings :hihi:

Yeah matey - happy days when football was for the masses and no one bothered about the possibility of falling over in the snow on the way to the game.

I would love to see these highly paid prima donnas on a pitch when all that has been cleaared is the lines and penalty area.

Ee, they don't know they're borne!
