Lately my monitor of 3 years old has started flickering - it will go an off white, then pale yellow for a couple of seconds, and then go back to white.
Its a Mitsubishi Diamond plus 92 as if that makes the slightest difference!
Please tell me i don't need to fork out for a new one! Is 3 years doing well for a monitor?
thanks
You could try installing new drivers from the Mitsubishi web site.

Some of the really old monitors at College do that - i think it is a bent/not correctly inserted pin into the port.

Make sure plug is in and plug is in right, also install latest drivers from website,
The Blue input signal on the wire seems to be faulty.
Clue:
Red and Green signal = Yellow.
Red, Green and Blue signal = White.
Its either the wire or a dry joint.
Check the connections.

Re: the possible bent pins... If you look a the monitor cable end that attaches to the computer you may find that some of the pins have been bent out of shape... Any that are not standing up straight may need to be CAREFULLY straightened up but be warned they could be so badly bent that they'll break off in which case you'll need a new plug from an electronics shop... and a soldering iron most likely...
As for the drivers.. no idea when it comes to macs... google should help though.
